Well, this is the obligatory first post. I do hope someone reads this blog, but I’ll blog even if no one does. There a millions of you (potential readers) and one of me. And there are thousands of blogs and web pages. So… my expectations for its success are low.
Why do I even bother then? I feel its right and just want to. Plus, I need something else to do besides work.
Whats this blog about then? I would like to say life, the universe, everything. But, I’m going to focus a bit. Politics, books, works of art, halo, second life, video games, web comics and I.B. If you don’t know about IB, then maybe we should ask the next question:
Who am I? In cyber space I go by X, Xaoz (zay-oz), Xaos (zay-os or chaos), and Xaos Maladay. The latter name I’m using most commonly at the moment. But its rather long. Feel free to shorten in or make up your own nickname for me.
As for my real life persona, I’m going to keep it purposefully vague. What I will say:
- I am a high school senior.
- I am in the International Baccalaureate program.
- I have to write a 4000 word essay and do 150 hours of community service type projects.
If anything, this blog will serve as a chronicle (vague on details, though) of my senior year and writing the essay. Plus tons of musings, rants, and thoughts a various topics in between. Plus maybe a poem and comic every now and then.
So, to those who meander over a read, I hope you enjoy it!
